Welcome to Camp Olympia’s Staff for 2022! You are about to embark on what we are sure will be one of the most O-Mazing experiences of your life. We have included everything we think you will need in order to help you prepare to have the best summer ever! This counselor “packet” lists all your paperwork that is required to have on file, packing list, as well as the counselor manual you need to read. So let’s get started…..
COUNSELOR TRAINING SCHOOL (CTS) ARRIVAL
Remember it’s not only mandatory, but it’s a BLAST!
Returning Counselor: Plan to arrive by 5:00pm Friday, May 20th. We will check in at the Nexus building.
New Counselor: Plan to arrive at Olympia between 1:00 – 2:00pm on Saturday, May 21st. If you will be traveling a long distance and need to come in Friday the 20th that will be fine, but please make arrangements with Cody and/or Michelle ahead of time.
Staff Flying In: Please fly into Houston Intercontinental Airport on Friday, May 20th. We ask that you try and book your flight between 1:00 – 3:00pm. Contact Andy with your flight information, so he can make sure we have all of your information to meet you at the airport.
Check In Process: We ask for patience this year as things will be different and moving at a slower pace than normal due to COVID policies. Our goal is to create a clean “bubble” inside of camp. We will begin opening our gates by 1PM and ask that staff arrive between 1-2PM. We also ask that you stay in your car unless otherwise directed by a Camp Olympia staff member. Upon arrival, you will be directed through the Camp O gates and stopped for your health check. As you wait, a staff member will explain the remaining drop-off process and provide directions to your particular cabin. Once you have been cleared, you will head down the main road, and around the Cabin Loop. Once you get to your cabin, a staff member will meet you at your car and help unload your belongings. If you are being dropped off, we ask that your family NOT exit their vehicle. You will say your goodbyes in the car and then our staff will help you settle into the cabin. All belongings will be disinfected prior to being moved into the cabins. If you are driving yourself to camp, you will drive and park your car in the counselor parking lot once you have unloaded your belongings. From there, a staff member will pick you up and bring you down to the main part of camp to begin the FUN!

RETURNING STAFF: Password information will be the same as last year.
NEW STAFF: Password information will be the same as when you set up your account when you filled out your application. (Remember that your login information was emailed to you from email@example.com.) If you have forgotten your password, you may click on “Retrieve/Set Password” to reset your account.

You must take a SAME-DAY RAPID COVID ANTIGEN TEST the day of your arrival, prior to arriving. For submitting proof of your negative test result, log in to your CampMinder forms account and upload a photo of your negative result on the form: COVID-19 Latest Test Result.
Step 2: WorkBright Forms
RETURNING STAFF: CLICK HERE to access your account. Password information will be the same as last year.
NEW STAFF: CLICK HERE to access the WorkBright login screen. You will be asked to change your password the first time you login. Click the FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD? link on the login page to setup your password for the first time.

Please consult your parents if you are uncertain of the number of exemptions to claim. The address that you place on this form will be used to mail your official tax form in January so please enter your PERMANENT MAILING ADDRESS. Please notify us immediately if your address changes.
For documentation, you will need to provide form(s) of identification.
This includes Documents that Establish Both Identity and Employment Authorization (Examples include: PASSPORT or PERMANENT RESIDENCE CARD)
Document that Establish Identity (Examples include: DRIVER’S LICENSE, SCHOOL ID CARD WITH PHOTO or GOVERNMENT ID CARD)
Document that Establish Employment Authorization (Examples include: BIRTH CERTIFICATE or SOCIAL SECURITY CARD)
MAKE COPIES OF THE FRONT AND BACK of any current certifications you hold. Examples: WSI, LGI, LT, FA, CPR, etc.
