Spartan/Athenian
At Camp Olympia, the fun begins with campers finding out which of the two tribes they are a part of – Spartan (red team) or Athenian (blue team). This summer-long adventure encourages friendly competition, teamwork and builds self-confidence throughout their stay. Every day there are different competitions that each tribe must complete in order to reign victorious. On the last day of competition, these special activities culminate in a grand finale: The Spartan/Athenian Relay Day!
Campers returning year after year stay in their same tribe! In fact, children with a parent who attended Camp O will be in the same tribe as their parent to carry on the tradition! Belonging to a Camp O tribe makes every year an unforgettable summer of friendly competition, growth, and teamwork. So get ready to join the Spartans or Athenians and have a blast!
SPARK Week Program
SPARK Week at Camp O is perfect for first-time campers! This week-long program gives boys and girls (ages 6-9) the opportunity to experience all the fun of camp life designed with their age and comfort level in mind. During these shorter, one-week sessions, they’ll have the chance to get involved in a wide variety of activities, from swimming and canoeing to art and horseback riding. Plus, they’ll make new friends through unique experiences like a themed dance and talent show. With SPARK Week, there’s something for everyone– and it’s an amazing way to kick off their summer camp adventure. Let the SPARK Week fun begin!
4:1 Camper-to-Counselor Ratio
At Camp Olympia, we take safety and attention very seriously. That’s why we maintain a camper to counselor ratio that’s much better than the industry standard. Our 4:1 camper-to-counselor ratio means that our staff have the opportunity to really get to know our campers, and they get the support they need throughout their session. And because our counselors have a sizable leadership team and support system, they are able to be more engaged, passionate, and ready to make sure everyone has an amazing experience while at camp!

Individualized Activity Schedule
No two campers’ experiences are the same! Campers choose from over 45 activities like waterskiing, archery, workshop, and more! Whether your camper prefers low-key activities or full-on action and excitement, they can find it all here! Plus, we have plenty of fun and friendly counselors to help guide them no matter the activity.
Christmas in July
Christmas in July is a day that campers look forward to all year! We throw a winter-themed party with everything from Christmas costume fun to caroling around camp. Our activities are designed to bring out the Christmas spirit, and we go all-out with decorations so campers can feel like they’re celebrating in a winter wonderland. Santa even stops by to hand out presents! Our games and activities are sure to bring laughter and joy, and campers will leave feeling like they just hopped off the Polar Express! Christmas in July is just one of our themed nightly programs that campers and counselors love!
