For those of you that are already registered for this fun weekend, we're looking forward to having you here at Camp Olympia. Registered families should have received an email giving you specifics on what to pack and when to arrive, as well as an overall schedule for the weekend. If you have not received this, please contact us at 936-594-2541 so we can re-send this information to you.
A few important points…
- Check-in on Friday is from 5pm – 7pm under the green tent in front of our chow hall. If you anticipate being later than 7pm and have not already notified us, please contact us at 936-594-2541.
- Camp Olympia always has had a no smoking policy inside its buildings, but due to the current drought conditions and burn ban, Camp Olympia has implemented a non-smoking policy for everywhere on the grounds.
- What to pack…
o The pool will be open, so bring a bathing suit and towel with you if you would like to swim!
o We will have scrapbooking times available. We will provide scrapbooking supplies, but feel free to bring any photos and any personal supplies if you would like!
o Horseback will be offered. We recommend bringing a pair of jeans or pants to wear while riding.
o It looks like the weather will be beautiful for the weekend, but may be a little cool in the mornings and late evenings. We suggest bringing a light jacket, sweatshirt or long-sleeve shirt with you in addition to your “camp clothes”.
o We will have a Decades Dance on Saturday evening. Bring a fun outfit from your favorite decade and get ready to learn some new dances!
o Our cabins have bunk beds. Please bring bedding (pillow and sheets/blanket or sleeping bag) with you for everyone in your group.
o Please remember to bring a towel, shower shoes and toiletries for use in our bathhouse.
o Pack comfortable shoes and get ready to play!
